There are lots of types of families. Birth families, step-families, soul families, friends that feel like family and energetic families. We can’t always explain why some people feel like family that we have never met or how we are drawn to certain people. Or why our own family sometimes feels foreign or that we have little in common. But the fact is we pick our families before birth. We choose our parents, our siblings, our half siblings, our step-parents and our friends in order to heal ourselves.
One reason I picked my parents is because I have a judgement contract. Every heard of that? That means I have everything to learn about judgement in this lifetime. And it started from a very young age by judging myself. We start to judge ourselves before we even realize it. By the grades we make, by our friends we have and by what our body looks like. We judge how other people look, act, treat others and we judge how people treat themselves! Let’s not forget the judges in our heads that are telling us what to eat, what not to eat, what to wear, what to feel guilty about. I can think of a million others.
My biggest judgement for me was building a career in the intuitive world. How am I supposed to tell my parents and everyone I’ve ever known since I was 3 that I can channel certain healers to give you life answers, to heal emotional and physical wounds. I can use energy to improve your life, I can take you to Mars during a guided meditation and Astro travel to find peace. I can teach your kids why they need to use crystals to ground themselves and I can see and hear things a lot of people can’t. Of course now, it is clear why I picked a field where there is a massive amount of negative judgement!
So take a scan of your mind and body……take a quiz about your life…….
Why do you think you picked your parents?
What contract do you need to learn?
What is it or who is it that you truly need to release from your life?
And who is your family that supports your passion?
Tina Ames said it the best– “The Life You Live is the Lesson You Teach”
So live your life, figure out the lesson you need to learn and do it! Your family will show up for you even if they don’t have the same last name!
