The most powerful tool that Reiki masters use comes in the form of symbols. These symbols have been kept mostly secret to Reiki masters, but we will take a look at them so we can have a greater understanding of the practice.
Reiki masters employ different symbols for different methods of healing depending on each client’s needs. For our Reiki weight loss program, we’ve identified several symbols which specifically aid along the journey.
Here is a closer look at these Reiki weight loss symbols.
What are they?
By understanding the symbols better, we can understand the intention of each Reiki session.
There are quite a few symbols that Reiki masters can draw upon, but there are three main symbols that can be used to make your weight loss session all the more powerful.
The symbols themselves are not meant to be the healing power, but are meant to magnify the intention of the practice, making the healing all the more powerful and concentrated.
The three main symbols are:
- Chou Ku Rei
- Sei He Ki
- Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen
Chou Ku Rei
The first symbol is Chou Ku Rei. This symbol represents power and can be used in a variety of ways.
The symbol itself looks like an upside-down “L” with a swirl at the tail end on the bottom.
When this symbol is used it is said to use pure life force energy to amplify the practice, itself. In terms of weight loss, it can be an incredibly helpful tool to help bring more healing power to your meal and help ward off negative energy (say, energy connected to cravings).
Sei He Ki
The second symbol is Sei He Ki and it is known as the symbol of the mental state.
This symbol is a bit more complicated and looks like a squiggly line on the left and an arch with two nodes on the right.
If used during a session, this symbol can help balance mental and emotional states. Because this symbol can help balance your emotional state, it is incredibly helpful when trying to lose weight.
Much of weight gain is associated with stress and emotional imbalances. When viewed from a Reiki point of view, this looks very much like blocked energy and this symbols helps clear that right up so that the emotional blockage has less of a hold on you and your eating habits!
Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen
The third symbol is Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen. It is the distance symbol and is exactly as it sounds: it is used best for long distances.
The interesting part about this symbol is that it is used in distances both in space and time. So when regarding people or events near or far, as well as in the past or future, you and the master can use this symbol to help effect change in powerful ways. The same goes for eating habits, exercise, and overall stress levels.
With this symbol you can effect change in many areas of your life other than the present moment!
How are Reiki weight loss symbols used?
Your Reiki master will use the symbols in many ways, even so much as drawing one in the air during the session.
However, how the symbols are used is unimportant because what is understood is the intention behind the symbol. The master can harness the power of each symbol throughout the session, and from there the power is magnified in the energy clearing. Depending on the specific ailments and desires for the session, the master can utilize the symbols accordingly.
Reiki is a powerful aid in healing and can be personalized by using symbols. The symbols themselves cannot harness any power, so simply knowing each symbol and trying to use them yourself will not bring about your desired effects. Instead, it is with much training and energy mastery that the symbols can really make some moves in your total energy.
Also, because they are so powerful when used correctly, it is so important to understand and respect their uses during the session. Next time you meet with your Reiki specialist, you can ask about these symbols and see if there is a way to harness their power in your quest to lose weight!
